I love how smooth and elegant your sculptures come out, and the colors are perfect! I've read through your FAQ and there were a few questions I couldn't find on it--

You're one of the very few artists I see that use an epoxy armature-- many use aluminum foil instead. Is it because it is easier to mold into the right shape/ is stronger than foil?

Also, how do you put the finished sculpture and the final wooden base together? I've been looking all over the web and I couldn't seem to find what I was looking for.  Do you drill a hole completely through the wood and stick the metal armature in, or only partially into the base? I want to give sculpting a try and I'm always afraid that a partial hole will be too shallow and the figure will fall over.

Do you glue the part of the clay that's touching the base to the wood? What about putting 2 separate pieces together-- such as your Chrysalis and Twilight one? If yes, what glue do you use? I've read about the CA glue on your FAQ, do you use it for more than just the armature?

I'm so sorry for bombarding you with questions and I'll understand if you don't have the time to answer. I find your work truly inspiring--I can't stop browsing through your gallery ;~;

Your sculptures are amazing! I hope one day I can go into sculpturing and be 1/5 as good as you ( I would be awesome then!)

Have you ever thought of doing key-chains or really small sculptures?

not really - i can go small, but no one would want to pay for a mini.  ^^;  and keychains would require casting to be sturdy, which i don't know how to do and won't do for legal reasons.

that's a very nice thing to say!

Don't worry - you will make your tools and gather your supplies... and learn the power of sandpaper and patching white putty!
