She is not amused. Neither is gravity cat.
so cute! ^^
absolutely amazing work! You are incredible xD
If this is going to be a real statue, than you might want to weight the base so that it doesn't tip over or something Epic work!
i need this....for my desk...for....reasons....
It looks unstable, like the base will break easily.
I'm assuming there's a rod or something connecting the tail to the baseplate?
nope - she made it to canada just fine in the mail.
I use steel and strong epoxy - if you want to see the armature and how it connects through the base, I have examples in my scraps.
Best pose ever. XD
BUCKING WANT IT!!
What clay did u use?
sculpey - for full materials faq, check the links in my journal :3
This is so much better than the dolls they sell that look 0% like the characters :->
Can we buy this?
she's not amused
wouldn't this be likely to fall over and break?
nope - wire runs through her head and into the base. Add glue and they're very sturdy. The chrysalis and twilight is an extreme version of this ^^
no, she has wiring inside the sculpture
You make fantastic sculptures!! ^.^
One of these days, when I get my engineering internship and have some *real* disposable income, I've got to commission you! Your work is absolutely top notch, and I would say a standard to which other pony sculptors should measure themselves against.
all artists have their own styles and levels of quality and seriousness, but that is a nice thing to say ^^
is it for sale?
wow how is she being held up by her tail? you did a fantastic job!
she has armature through her entire body and sticking into the base :3 There should be WIPS in my scrapbook.
what do you use to paint things like this and your other sculpter cause i want to make so but idk how to the them
To paint you sand and wash the sculpt - let it thoroughly dry. The give it an even coat of primer and paint with acrylics. Then you can coat with matte varnish or polyurethane :3
this is cool!
Wow! Great work!!
what material did you used to make this?
